The Dancing Crane Gallery

Flower Talk, 29.5" x 35.5", water media on yupo

May will bring a new exhibition of "Bloomin Kaleidoscope" to The Dancing Crane Gallery in the Village of the Arts, 1019 10th Ave. W., Bradenton, FL (941-744-1333). I have two artworks there. The one showing here is called "Flower Talk" a 29.5" x 35.5" watercolor on yupo framed in a bronze-toned wood frame. You always hear how flowers are the language of love or are symbolic of a message. If humans think flowers can send messages, why not show a flower talking? If you look carefully, you will see not only words on the petals but three flower goddess heads talking amongst themselves. It is amazing what you can see whenever you look closely at flowers. This is what I saw. The exhibit will run for two months.

Suntan Art Center

No Regrets, 27" x 34", framed mixed media on watercolor paper

"No Regrets", my Dr. Ph. Martin drawing ink and collage piece, is in the April Members' Show at the Suntan Art Center, 3300 Pass-A-Grill Way, St. Pete Beach, FL. The show's theme is Art with An Edge and the artists' imaginations make for interesting interpretations. The show is on view until the end of April. The upcoming May/June exhibit is called Creative Connections and I have no idea of what I will submit. Any ideas??
