Postings and Parrots

Thank you, Colleen, for being the first posting on my blog. What a thrill to find your posting. I hope we can become a support network for each other or in other terms: a flock. Flocks are on my mind because I just viewed The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill. I highly recommend it. Ben is my blue front Amazon parrot so I was motivated to see it but even if you do not have a bird, this is a delightful film. It is a film about a flock of urban, non-native parrots who live in the green niches of San Francisco. It is packed with romance, comedy and a surprise ending. Your local library may have it. Mine did.

Hi Lolly,
I think it would be great to support each other, if nothing else we can post on each others blog so we feel like we are important. =) I will look up the Parrots film on Netflix, it sounds interesting. I like parrots but have never owned one. As for your question on how to post pictures on your blog...I am so new at this it took me a couple of minutes to remember how I did it, ha ha. When you are on the page where you are creating a new post, if you look at all the little icon thingys above where you are typing...they start with Font, the Bold one, Italics and so on... a little further to the right there is a little picture. If you click on that it will open up a new little window that gives you the option to add a picture from your computer or add an image from the web and below that you can chose where the picture will be in your post. If you need more instructions just let me know and I will go into more detail...you can e-mail me if you want to at colleen@colleenolson.net
Hope this helps.

Hi Colleen,
Your information helped and now there are photos on the blog. I wish I could say I look better in person but I do not. The beach, however, is even better when your toes are in the sand.
Best wishes,
lolly
